Mission Statement

God's grace welcomes you, no matter who you are or where you come from - and so do we.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the true Savior, the promised Messiah, of all people.  By his perfect life, innocent death, and triumphant resurrection he saves all lost sinners even without our help.

Jesus Christ makes us special people, right with God and ready for life!  We learn this from the Bible, God's authentic message of grace and guidance for us.

Whether you are a seasoned Lutheran, a curious observer with little religious background, or a spiritual person looking to return to the church, we invite you to Messiah.

What is Lutheran?

Some 500 years ago, a priest named Martin Luther, along with several others, began what we know as the Reformation.  He compared the church's false teachings to scripture and attempted to bring the church back in line with scripture.  He and his colleagues were persecuted for their efforts, yet with God's help, Luther managed to translate the scriptures from Latin into German, the language of the people and publish teachings that were in line with scripture.
