Today's text is a portion of Luke's account of that event, which led to Jesus' continued ministry through the ministries of his apostles.Ascension DayThe thought is that we all have important work to do while we wait for our Lord to return. Jesus spoke with his disciples about that work, and he helped them understand how important it was for them to carry out their mission, as it is for us today. |
